Avian Influenza Information

Nations around the world are preparing for a potential influenza pandemic. Many scientists fear that the so-called “bird flu,” an avian influenza strain such as H5N1, could kill millions of people worldwide if the virus becomes easily transmissible between humans. The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has prepared this site as a resource for information on pandemic preparedness, research and developments.
