Dr. Milstone's research interests focus on the prevention of hospital acquired infections (HAIs) and emergence of antibiotic resistance in children. His studies are helping to define the prevalence and transmission of multidrug-resistant bacteria in hospitalized children and identify interventions to reduce their spread and prevent HAIs.
