Overview

Dr. Love's expertise is food systems and sustainability. Most of his work is with the fisheries and aquaculture sectors. He also works on environmental health topics including antimicrobial resistance, microplastics, food waste, and agriculture.

Dr. Love was a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Kara Nelson from 2008-2009 in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. His graduate research with Dr. Mark Sobsey from 2002-2007 in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the UNC Chapel Hill. He has a BS in Biology from Davidson College.

He currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina and visits JHU and Baltimore regularly.
