Overview

Dr. Johnson is the Eisenhower Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Professor of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed his Neurology training at The Massachusetts General Hospital. Much of his career, which has now spanned almost four decades, has focused on synthesizing the previously separate fields of neurology and virology. He is internationally known for his knowledge and expertise in infectious and immune-mediated disorders of the nervous system, including multiple sclerosis.
