Overview

I am an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland. My research focuses on the use of novel data sets and models to better understand the spatial dynamics of various infectious diseases. This work focuses on a range of pathogens including malaria, dengue, measles, and rubella. Much of this research leverages molecular (genomics, serology), behavioral (human mobility data), and epidemiological data to better understand infectious disease transmission.
