Research Interests

I'm interested in how innate immune responses regulate lung health and lung function. Innate immunity often involves ancient, and well-conserved mediators and innate immune cells, and its actions has far-reaching effects. In the lungs, innate immune responses play a critical role in the pathogenesis diseases like asthma and emphyma, and during viral and bacterial infections.
