As a nurse and lab technician with a Public Health Master degree and eleven years of experience in the management of field and laboratory research in Peru, I have developed a committed interest in the optimization of data management for complex population base studies. My ongoing projects include data management activities in large longitudinal studies of malaria, enteric diseases, nutrition and clinical trials done under IND.

- Since June, 2002 I've collaborated with Dr. Kosek in built, maintained and staffed a
- research center
- and field site in Iquitos Peru (www.iqtlab.org) that has supported multiple cohort studies of childhood illnesses and malaria and a Phase I trial of probiotic L reuteri. Current projects include collaborations with other investigators at JHU, Tulane, Duke, UC San Diego and the US NMRU-6.
