12:00p – 1:00p: Silent "working" mindful lunch 1:00p - 2:15p: Yoga Nidra-a deeply restorative guided imagery practice: Introduction to the parasympathetic nervous system
2:15p - 3:15p: Introduction to Stress Physiology-the sympathetic nervous system
3:15p – 4:00p: Application of mindfulness tools to recognize and treat professional burnout/ compassion fatigue; uses in clinical practice
Question and answer session/ discussion of practical uses of skills used today.
