Principles of Environmental Health/
Sanitarian Review Course
May 5-9 & 19-23, 2008

Dates:
Week I - May 5-9, 2008
Week II - May 19-23, 2008

Purpose:
This two week course provides an introduction to the concepts and principles of environmental health for public health practitioners. Designed primarily for sanitarians-in-training who are preparing for the State of Maryland Registered Sanitarian examination, it will also be helpful for those who desire a review of environmental health.

Directions to MDE:
From North: Take I-95 South.
Go through the Fort McHenry
Tunnel.
Exit at Exit 52 (Baltimore/Washington Parkway/BWI Airport/295S).
After exiting, stay in right lane and bear off right to the Westport
exit.
At the first traffic light after exiting, make a left onto Annapolis Road
.
At the first traffic on Annapolis Road, make a left onto Monroe Street
.
Take Monroe Street to Washington Boulevard
.
Make a left onto Washington Boulevard
.
Make a right into the Red parking lot.

From South: Take I-95 North.
Exit at Exit 51 (Washington Boulevard
).
At bottom of the Exit ramp, make a left onto Washington Boulevard.
Turn left onto the Red parking lot.

Participants are required to provide the following by the 1st day of class:
Place of employment.
Classification or Job title.
Employment status.
Permission to release your grade/ attendance to DHMH and MDE.
A copy of the book: Environmental Engineering and Sanitation, 5th Edition by Joseph Salvato.
