The Center for Environmental Health Tracking is one of three University-based centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to develop a nationwide environmental health tracking network, advancing the understanding of the relationship between health and the environment.

The Center builds upon the longstanding efforts of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to strengthen the national environmental health infrastructure.  Working with 9 state- and locally based partners, the Center's activities can be divided into three major categories:

  • Support, Assist, Advise, Input
  • Applied Research, Synthesis, Translation
  • Information Dissemination, Outreach, Advocacy

Dr. Thomas Burke is the Principal Investigator.
