The Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health offers a variety of master's level programs including an academic Master of Health Science (MHS) Program in Demography and a professional Master of Health Science (MHS) Program (One or Two Year) with a focus in one of the following areas: child and adolescent health and development; population health studies; or reproductive, perinatal, and women’s health. These programs are designed to strengthen existing skills and knowledge for application in population and health; women's health; adolescent health; reproductive health; and maternal and child health. Through course work and experience with faculty, students acquire a firm grounding in general public health principles and in specific areas of population, family and reproductive health.
