| Applicants to the DrPH program are expected to have completed an MPH degree or equivalent preparation. Applicants without this background may be accepted on condition of an agreement to remedy these deficiencies during their first year of study. Applicants who need to remedy deficiencies should have been informed of this at the time of admission. Nevertheless, experience has shown that it is wise for all DrPH students to review their status with respect to the MPH competencies with their advisor and the head of the MPH program sometime during first term of their first year of study.
