Sommer Scholars Program The Department nominates four incoming students annually for selection as a Hopkins Sommer Scholar by a school committee. The scholarships provides 100% tuition, stipend, and health insurance. The Global Health Field Research Award This research award is open to all JHU undergraduate and graduate students, and supports short-term research experiences to address global health issues. Application deadline is March 1. Please visit the Center for Global Health website for more details. Hopkins Fogarty AIDS International Training and Research Program For students who are active in HIV/AIDS collaborative research. The program provides training and research support to developing country partners relevant to the global HIV/AIDS research agenda. Humanitarian Assistance Scholarship Fund These scholarships seek to support and expand the field experiences of current students who have a demonstrated interest in humanitarian assistance and refugees. Priority will be given to those students with past work experience in the field (MPH awards) and those looking to gain entry or additional experience in the field through internships and research activities (MHS and doctoral awards). Federal Work-Study: Students can work part-time for faculty members doing research and be paid at an hourly rate, for no more than 20 hours per week. Awarded as part of the federal aid package. Contact the Department of International Health for more information.
