For students interested in social policy and health, the impact of social policies on population health, including well being and quality of life, and the relationship between social policy and health care policy are emphasized. Students must complete the course requirements for the PhD in Health and Public Policy. In addition, students choose to focus their studies on either Comparative Social Policy and Health or Health and Social Inequalities. Students are also expected to select at least 2 courses from one of the two concentrations depending on whether they are focusing on Comparative Social Policy and Health or Health and Social Inequalities. Courses for each option will vary from year to year. |
