Financial Aid/Tuition

During the second (field placement) year, students will receive a Master's Tuition Scholarship (MTS). This scholarship provides a 75 percent tuition scholarship during this stage of the program. In addition, a majority of the field placements are full-time, salaried positions.

Qualifying students may be offered a wide array of loans including federal Perkins loans, Federal Direct Student loans (subsidezed and unsubsidized), Federal Work Study, and/or Graduate PLUS loans.  The Financial Aid Office does not offer need-based grant assistance.

The MHS program in Health Policy combines academic coursework in health policy at a world-class institution with nine months of professional health policy work experience.  The proximity of Johns Hopkins to our nation's capitol and the engagement of our faculty in Washington make the program ideal for those interested in pursuing careers in health policy.
