A limited number of registration-fee (non-academic credit) scholarships are available for the Fall Institute of 2008. The selection of scholarship recipients is based on criteria established by the Johns Hopkins Fall Institute Oversight Committee.
Applicants interested in being considered for a scholarship must submit a completed scholarship application and registration.The scholarship application requires the following:
(a) a curriculum vitae (resume) (b) a description of current position and employment status. It is necessary for the applicant to describe whether he/she holds a student or fellowship status, and if he/she is employed full- or part-time. Information on current projects or programs must be included. (c) a description of how the Fall Institute course(s) will enhance job performance and/or career growth All three items listed above must be submitted for a scholarship application to be reviewed. A completed online scholarship application and institute registration forms, along with the additional supporting documents, must be submitted for consideration no later than Friday, September 5, 2008. Decisions will be made and communicated to applicants no later then Monday, September 15, 2008. Applicants who are now awarded a scholarship will not be enrolled in a course until their fees have been paid through other means.
