Fall Institute Fees

Early registration is highly recommended for the Fall Institute. All registrants are required to submit the application form along with full payment. Due to enrollment limits, late/walk-in registration will be accepted on a space-available basis only, subject to a late registration fee.

Tuition and Fees

For those students who register for Johns Hopkins academic credit, tuition is $815 per credit, and must be paid in U.S. dollars. MasterCard, Discover and Visa will be accepted for tuition payments.  Participants financed by employers or outside organizations such as the World Health Organization should arrange with their agencies to provide supporting documents with submission of their applications. All registrants should be prepared to provide payment to the Fall Institute for the balance of their tuition or course fees prior to October 21, 2009. Payment of fees at the time of registration will expedite the process.

For participants who do not wish to receive Johns Hopkins academic credit, the registration fee is 138 euros per credit (€138 or $188/USD). The maximum number of courses that can be taken during the Institute is six.  Participants paying the registration (not-for-credit) fee may pay in U.S. dollars or euros. Students paying in euros may make payment by electronic funds transfer (EFT), automatic clearing house (ACH) or wire through the Johns Hopkins Fall Institute account with Citibank in Spain. Students choosing this method of payment should contact the most convenient Institute office to obtain the account and bank routing numbers. The office in Barcelona can be reached at +34-93-542-2625; the office in Baltimore, U.S. at +1-410-614-1580. Students choosing this method of payment should submit a copy of the payment confirmation from the bank to Ms. Pamela Davis in the Baltimore Institute Office.

Scholarships

A limited number of registration-fee (non-academic credit) scholarships are available for the Fall Institute of 2009. The selection of scholarship recipients will be based on criteria established by the Johns Hopkins Fall Institute Oversight Committee.  Please see further instructions in the scholarship section of this website.
