The Doctoral Curriculum consists of the three Epidemiologic Methods courses (340.751 - 340.753), the "Challenges" course (340.754), one of the four course sequences in Biostatistics (140.651 - 654 recommended), grant preparation and review, research ethics and perspectives and doctoral seminars.  The Doctoral Seminars course is required of all post-comprehensive written exam doctoral students in epidemiology. The three-term sequence is best completed during the second year of the program. Each of the areas above lists required and elective courses as well. Students are encouraged to select additional electives as appropriate to their research interests.
