Tom Kensler
Congratulations to Thomas Kensler, PhD, who was the recipient of "The People's Republic of China Friendship Award."  This award is the People's Republic of China's highest award for "foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country's economic and social progress."

The award recognizes the two decades of work by       Dr. Kensler and his team in understanding the etiology and approaches towards prevention of liver cancer in a high risk region of eastern China. The Hopkins group has worked diligently to foster collaboration and capacity building in public health as well as enduring friendships.
