Current Students:

The Epidemiology Student Organization comprises all masters, doctoral, and post-doctoral students in the Department of Epidemiology. Our mission as a faculty- and administration- independent organization is to promote the professional development of students in the Department and to act as an advocate for student needs. This is accomplished by working with faculty, administrators, and other student organizations in the School. Our goal is to create an environment that encourages discussion, student interaction, and networking.

The Academic Support Core Office is designed to assist students and faculty with all aspects of student life, course materials and coordination, our summer institute, and student funding issues.  The Department offers seminars and journal clubs throughout the year to give students and faculty the opportunity to discuss proposed and current research in the field; Funding and Career Opportunities for Epidemiology students and graduates; and Training Opportunities and resources within the Department, School, and University.  The School's Career Services Office assists students, faculty, and employers through postings, interviews, and an annual career fair.
