Graduates of the MHS in Health Economics will be well placed for a range of opportunities in the public and private sector. Many graduates may use the degree for entry into a career in research, with an extensive array of opportunities existing in academic and non-academic environments.

U.S. Government: Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS); The Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research (AHRQ); National Institutes of Health (NIH); Food and Drug Administration (FDA), state health agencies.

Consulting, Health Care and Industry: Consulting firms, contract research organizations, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, health insurers and managed care organizations, hospital chains.

International: World Health Organization (WHO), World Bank, UNICEF, other international agencies, national government-related organizations, and the larger non-governmental organizations.
