Requirements for Application
Applicants must be citizens of Mongolia, currently involved in public health research, training, or practice, and affiliated with the HSUM-SPH.
Applicants must hold positions to which they can return at the completion of training experiences. Priority will be given to applicants who will be involved in teaching or training programs in environmental/occupational health or related disciplines at the HSUM-SPH, as this program is designed to increase capacity in research and training in public health research and program implementation. Proficiency in written and spoken English is an absolute requirement for selection in any of the training opportunities offered. Both men and women are encouraged to apply.
There may be additional requirements specific to the type of training opportunity. Applicants for either the short-term research experience or for degree program must remain at the training site for the duration of the academic period.
A committee of faculty at HSUM-SPH and JHSPH will select candidates. Contact the HSUM-SPH Fogarty office for further information and application forms. Application and selection requirements are as follows:
- Completion of an application form.
- Official documentation of satisfactory performance on the TOEFL.
