Class of 2013

I have always been interested in public health specifically in food and water borne diseases.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and aspire to a career in both public health and medicine.

I chose the MHS program because it integrated all my interests in terms of environmental health and it provided unparalleled experience in terms of academics, resources, and professional development.

I am interested in finding effective strategies to reduce the burden of food and waterborne diseases at both the individual and population levels. I chose the MHS program at Hopkins because, it integrated all my interests in terms of environmental health and it provided unparalleled experience in terms of academics, resources, and professional development.

My experience was excellent, and my expectations were met beyond measure, the network is excellent, the professors are interesting and encouraging, and most importantly the quality of education is distinguished.
