About

Dr. Sun’s research interests are in cell and molecular biology of stratified epithelial differentiation. Dr. Sun’s papers have been cited over 12,500 times since 2009 (H-index 86). He has published in many prestigious journals including Science, Nature, Cell, JBC, PNAS, and
JCB. Many of his papers on keratin and epithelial stem cells are considered “citation classics.”
