The software programs are in the public domain and downloadable from the Internet's World Wide Web. You may copy them for yourself and for others, without charge. Most of them were developed, in part or whole, with public funds. Public health agency websites include links to multinational, national, state, and foreign websites, including those for Ministries of Health in other countries, and Departments of Health in the US. Other Internet resources include public health listservers, discussion groups, gopher sites, library collections, and distance education websites. A brief history of the development of the APHA software exchange and its collaboration with Delta Omega Alpha Chapter is given in the History section.
