Introduces students to design and analysis of clinical trials.

Learning Objectives:

Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:

  1. Integrate elements of clinical epidemiology and biostatistics and illustrates their application to clinical research problems
  2. Define the principal study designs and their application in a clinical setting
  3. Make a critical assessment of clinical investigations
