Description:

The MPH Capstone is an opportunity for students to work on public health practice projects that are of particular interest to them. The goal is for students to apply the skills and competencies they have acquired to a public health problem that simulates a professional practice experience.
Student Evaluation: Paper and presentation.
Learning Objective:

The goal is for students to synthesize, integrate and apply the skills and competencies they have acquired to a public health problem that approximates a professional practice experience. A written paper and oral presentation are required.

Enrollment Minimum: 10
Instructor Consent: Consent required for all students

Consent from the Capstone Supervisor is Required.
Prerequisite:

All other MPH core requirements must be taken before or concurrently with the capstone project.
Grading Restriction: Pass/Fail
Special Comments: Registration for this 2-credit course is required during the term that an MPH student completes the capstone project (e.g., 4th term for a full-time MPH student).
