Description:

Exposes students to recent research in various areas of health economics. Provides opportunities for more in-depth study of the core economics courses being offered each term. Provides opportunities for professional development in the field.

Student Evaluation: Students will be evaluated on their written summaries of the research presented in the seminars
Learning Objective:

At the conclusion of this course, students will have: better understood the theoretical and empirical techniques of health economics and their implication for health policy decisions; and prepared written critiques of recent research in area of public health economics.
