Description:

Introduces students to the case competition early in the year as part of their seminar. Provides students with the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom setting to a real-world case study.

Student Evaluation: group presentation evaluated by health care professional/executives and the program faculty
Learning Objective:

Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to: • Apply information gathering, research and critical thinking skills to managerial problem solving. • Work effectively in a team to produce a professional and persuasive presentation • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.

Special Comments: During Intersession and third term students work in their teams preparing for their 4th term presentations. Each presentation is approximately 20 minutes with a 10 minute Q&A.
