Assists HPM doctoral students integrate their first year curriculum and prepare them for the HPM qualifying exam.

Learning Objective(s):
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
Identify a public health problem and develop testable hypotheses
Demonstrate how to critique articles focused on policy interventions
Identify and comprehend the components of the HPM qualifying exam

Methods of Assessment: Student evaluation based on preparation of an outline of a qualifying exam question.
