Presents key concepts and theories in health services research to HPM doctoral students.

Learning Objective(s):
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
Describe the contributions to health services research of classic articles in the field
Identify and critique methodological strengths and weaknesses in a published article
Give a brief, well-organized presentation on the methodological strengths and weaknesses of a published article

Methods of Assessment: class participation, presentations and final paper
Location: East Baltimore

  • Tuesday 1:30 - 3:20
  • Thursday 1:30 - 3:20
Enrollment Minimum: 10
Enrollment Maximum: 25
Enrollment Restriction: HPM doctoral students
Instructor Consent: Consent required for all students
