Description:

Provides an overview of the issues and approaches in the application of environmental health risk assessment, risk management and risk perception/communication concepts to the use of engineered nanomaterials in technology and products.

Student Evaluation: Grading for the course will be based on the following components: final paper (40%); presentation (35%); and class participation (25%). Class participation will be assessed on both a qualitative and quantitative basis.
