The CIR Washington DC site is located in the historic Foggy Bottom neighborhood of the District.  The outpatient facility is located on the third floor of the Metropolitan Medical Center and is easily accessible via metro and bus. This facility, similar to that in Baltimore, provides space for recruitment of study participants, examination of adult subjects, vaccination, observation, monitoring and follow-up of volunteers, processing and storage of specimens, and offices for clinical staff.      

Directions to the Washington, DC, Outpatient Clinic

We highly recommend taking the DC Metro. If you prefer to drive, metered parking is available on the street. We do not validate parking garage tickets.

• Take the Metro to the Foggy Bottom stop (Blue/Orange Line).
• Exit the Metro station and walk down 23rd Street to F Street. 
• Turn left on F Street and walk approximately 2 blocks. 
• The clinic is in the Metropolitan Medical Clinic building.
