| The Center for Clinical Trials at Johns Hopkins is an inter-school center devoted to the promotion of clinical trials as a method of evaluation of preventive and therapeutic approaches to health problems. The Center is a collaboration between departments and centers in the Johns Hopkins schools of Public Health and Medicine. The departments include: Department of Biostatistics, Department of Epidemiology and the Department of International Health in the School of Public Health, and the Department of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and the Department of Oncology in the School of Medicine. 2010 Annual Letter The Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Trials was founded in 1990 as a collaborative effort of faculty from both the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the School of Medicine. To guide and inspire research, scholarship and intellectual engagement, in the Johns Hopkins community and globally, in the areas of clinical trials and evidence-based health care.
