| WRJHCP projects are supported by laboratory facilities, administrative office, project house, and field stations. Laboratory Facilities WRJHCP, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the French Research Institute for Development, renovated a large building, centrally located in Yaounde, into a BL-2 laboratory facility. This facility houses the research efforts of the internationally collaborative Army Health Research Center (CRESAR). WRJHCP laboratory space includes two rooms used for blood processing, serology and cryopreservation, and is equipped wtih a sophisticated electrical protection system and back-up generator. Over the years, the WRJHCP laboratory has processed the blood of more than 5,000 individiuals and has demonstrated its ability to successfully ship products to laboratories in the United States. WRJHCP is preparing to expand these facilities to include flow cytometry, PCR and clinical support capabilities. Computers, Internet service and international calling are available at this location. Physical address: Carrefour Intendance, Yaounde Administrative Office The administrative office, located just minutes from the laboratory, is composed of five large office spaces and a conference room. Well equipped with high-speed internet and international telephone services, the administrative office supports easy communication with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and project partners. Physical address: Rue Ceper, Yaounde
Project House The project house, located on the second floor of the WRJHCP office building, offers convenient and secure housing for visiting researchers.
