Youth Fitness - Current ProjectsNative Vision A youth development initiative for reservation-based American Indian adolescents from across the country. Its aim is to help American Indian youth enjoy a healthy future by providing: exciting fitness activities, school completion initiatives, and healthy start programs. Native Vision Year-Round Program The mission of the Native Vision After School Fitness and Life Skills Program is to empower American Indian youth between the ages of 9 to 12 years to realize their full (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) potential through promotion of physical fitness, healthy nutrition, and positive life skills. Evaluation of Notah Begay III Foundation San Felipe Soccer Club Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health is providing technical assistance, training, and data management and analysis services to the Notah Begay III Foundation in order to evaluate the San Felipe Soccer Club. The goal of the evaluation is to measure the effectiveness of the Soccer Club at improving youth physical health, fitness, emotional health, soccer skills, and academic progress. |
