FEAST FOR THE FUTURE
The most recent initiative the Center has embarked upon, “Feast for the Future” is a partnership with Native communities to address the emerging epidemic of food-related disease which will affect all Americans if we remain complacent. Targets include: obesity, diabetes, poor nutrition, food insecurity and hunger.

MOGRO
An innovative initiative being conducted in the Kewa Pueblo is a Mobile Grocery Truck, which provides access to healthy foods on a regular basis.  The mobile Grocery Truck is a unique private-public venture to address food deserts by  creating a viable “Mobile Grocery” enterprise and adjunct nutrition promotion and obesity prevention education, starting in a northern New Mexico American Indian community.
