Research Opportunities

The epidemiologic studies currently being planned and conducted by CADDE all utilize a population-based strategy that recruits participants through collaborations with schools and clinicians, as opposed to more traditional recruitment strategies that rely on volunteers to contact researchers.

If you have a child with autism or other developmental disability and are considering participating in research, the following studies may be of interest to you.

• Study to Explore Early Development (SEED)
• Study on infant siblings of children with autism
• Study in pregnant mothers who have a child with autism
• Study on families with a child with autism and a typically developing sibiling
