Tanisha Mitchell, MPH
Project Coordinator

Ms. Mitchell received her Master of Public Health degree, in maternal and child health, from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.  For her master’s project, she investigated the major factors that prevented indigent women from accessing timely pre-natal care.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA.  Ms. Mitchell joined CADDE as a Senior Program Supervisor in January 2008.

Before coming to Johns Hopkins, Ms. Mitchell worked in the quality assurance and clinical development groups for a major pharmaceutical company.  She has also done a significant amount of work with local youth as both a Science Teacher and Community Heath Educator.  Due to her passion and commitment, Ms. Mitchell is dedicated to taking on roles beneficial to women and children.
