The Student Assembly Newsletter

The Student Assembly (SA) represents, preserves and promotes the interests of all students at the School. Specifically, we strive to:

• Protect the rights of students at the School
• Formulate policies and regulations on behalf of students
• Represent students by electing or appointing student representatives to School committees
• Act as a communication channel between students and the administration
• Offer educational and intellectual opportunities and enrich student life by providing a forum for student expression and communication, and
• Act as a liaison between student groups and the School

This website contains information on upcoming meetings and events, links to student group webpages, and other information you may need about the Assembly and our activities.

Get involved!

All students are encouraged to participate in their Student Assembly. Ways to participate include:

• Run for a position in the spring, summer or fall elections
• Ask your department about becoming a departmental representative
• Participate in a Student Assembly committee
• Attend a Town Hall or general Student Assembly meeting to voice your opinions, concerns, or questions
• Contact the Student Assembly with suggestions or to get more information.
