| Past activities include bringing in speakers on emergency contraception policy, international family planning policy, domestic and international abortion policy, and women’s cardiovascular health, as well as organization of students to attend the 2004 March on Women’s Lives in Washington, DC. In 2006-2007, WHAG: - Sponsored a potluck that raised $500 to fight the South Dakota abortion ban bill
- Hosted speakers Leni Preston and Anne Kasper from the MD Women's Health Coalition
- Organized a domestic violence hotline training for JHSPH students through the House of Ruth
- Organized WHAG members to attend a Planned Parenthood Speaker's Bureau training -Speakers then go to highschools and community groups to educate on sexual and reproductive health topics
- Co-coordinated World AIDS Day (WAD) activities with other student groups; WHAG also sponsored a Women and microbicides panel discussion as part of WAD.
- Held a fundraiser for tickets for the Vagina Monologues production so that clients of local domestic violence shelters could attend at no cost
