Welcome to the Public Health Christian Fellowship!

We are so glad you came to our webpage!

Who are we?

The Public Health Christian Fellowship (PHCF) is an non-denominational christian community that seeks to encourage believers to grow in their relationship with God, introduce others to Him, and inspire people to glorify God through the training they receive at the School of Public Health.

When do we meet?

We meet weekly on Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. in W2303 for fellowship, prayer, and God's word.  Everyone is welcome (students, faculty, and staff)!

We are planning to host several events this year.  So be sure to check out our webpage for updates on current events.

What are some benefits of joining PHCF?

Many generations of MPH, MHS and Ph.D students have enjoyed the fellowship and prayer facilitated by the PHCF. Besides the opportunity to take a break from studies to focus on God, students enjoy the support and prayers of fellow christians during the mid-week one hour breather. New students also get to mingle with continuing students, who are excellent sources of advice on study tips, student life or even finding a church to worship in.

Who are our affliated groups?

The PHCF enjoys close links with other christian student groups of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions such as the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes Christian Fellowship (JHMICF) and the Johns Hopkins Nursing Christian Fellowship (JHNCF). The JHMICF meets on Tuesday nights at 7pm in the Marburg Conference Room in Johns Hopkins Hospital. The JHNCF meets on Wednesday mornings at 7.30am in Room 215 of the School of Nursing for morning devotionals.

International students may also join the Johns Hopkins International Fellowship (JHIF). The JHIF is an informal gathering of international students and fellows in JHU who meet on Friday evenings at 7pm in the Greenhouse Cafe at the Pre-clinical Teaching Building (PCTB). The JHIF also conducts excursions and outdoor events to help internationals get to know each other and visit places of interest in and around Baltimore.
