The Health and Human Rights Group is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting involvement in local, national and international health annd human rights issues. In conjunction with faculty, staff and related organizations, the Health and Human Rights Group acts on issues of social justice to create awareness through education. Activities have included a celebration of the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a human rights film festival, and seminars and discussions on various health and human rights issues. HHR is a forum for students to present issues that are important to them and has consistently been an important venue for minority opinion. |
