The Events Committee plans and coordinates a variety of departmental activities. Previous events organized by this committee include a welcoming activity during fall orientation, an annual outing to an Orioles baseball game at Camden Yards and a holiday party. These events promote social and academic interactions among the many diverse groups within the department and are a great way to get to know other students and faculty.
