Lend a hand to your hardworking neighbors struggling to make their own future just outside your door, with Bienestar Baltimore (formerly Programa Salud).  Get to know other students passionate about making a difference, not sometime in the distant future (or once you're ABD), but today.

Bienestar Baltimore includes students from Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health.  We're committed to improving the conditions of the Latino community in Baltimore through sustainable service, advocacy, and partnerships that encourage community participation and empowerment.

Our activities include: Tuberculosis screening, referral, and follow-up; English as a Second Language classes; a Community Advisory Board; Health Education and Outreach, and much more.
