There are two airports on the island. Hewanorra (UVF), for the larger jets, is located on the southern part of the island and it is a ninety-minute drive to your hotel in Rodney Bay, at the north of the island, at a cost of $US 80 for a vehicle that holds 4 passengers. George FL Charles Airport (SLU), where Dash-8’s and craft of such size land, is just within the city limit and less than 20 minutes to the hotels, at a cost of $US 20 for the taxi. Accommodation is available at one of a chain of three properties, Bay Gardens Resorts, with a range of prices to suit any pocket.
The inn and the hotel are across the street from each other, while the beach resort is a 5-minute stroll away, although a shuttle service is available. You may stay at one and play at all. Meetings, dinner and socials will be at the hotel. All three facilities are well situated with restaurants, supermarkets, medical facilities, shops and a casino all within walking distance in the Rodney Bay area. Their daily reduced reunion rates and terms are as follows, plus an additional 18% service charge and tax on each rate shown. These rates will remain in effect for stays extending beyond the dates of the reunion.

The above-quoted rates reflect 30% discount off their daily published rates and are based on single or double occupancy for the Standard, Superior & Deluxe Rooms and also the Junior Suites and on Quad Occupancy for the 2-Bedroom Suites. Additional person cost is US $47.00 + 18% service charge and tax per person per day.
Children 0 – 12 years free in the room only when sharing with adults.
The above rate includes breakfast for 1 or 2 persons at all three properties. Additional persons sharing a room, breakfast cost is US $17.00 + 18% service charge and tax per adult per day; children are half the adult rate. Check-in is at 3:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am.

Please note the group code of CR2012 (College Reunion 2012) can be used at all properties for the reduced rate, but can only be applied if you CALL to make your reservation (please see phone numbers below).
For reservations of 3 nights or less, FULL PAYMENT is required. For reservations exceeding 3 nights, a DEPOSIT equivalent to 3 nights’ accommodation is required to secure each booking on a definite basis. This is the hotel’s Credit Card Authorization Form to complete the payment process. The balance of the accommodation will be charged at CHECK-IN at the resort.
No-show reservations and premature departures will forfeit the full deposit amount.

ACTIVITIES (sign-up on-site for the first two)
Choice of ZIPLINE for 2 hours for the more adventurous (US $72), AERIAL TRAMCAR for 2 hours for cowards like me (US $69), or a 3.5-hour COMBINATION TOUR for US $85.
(2) PLEASURE CRUISE
A 3-hour boat ride down to the PITONS and to SOUFRIERE, the village with the volcano, with a sea-bathing stop at MARIGOT BAY (where the original Dr. Doolittle was filmed). Soft drinks and light snacks will be provided. We will try to include a trip into the volcano and a visit to nearby DIAMOND FALLS WATERFALL, but this is at an additional cost to be negotiated.
(3) FORMAL DINNER MENU:
Cream of calaloo soup with local fine herbs and spices
Spicy bread fruit salad with fine herbs and seasonings and a mayonnaise dressing

ADDITIONAL MISCELLANEOUS ACTIVITIES
For those who may come before the reunion or who want to stay on afterwards, there are other activities to be enjoyed. These include:
(1) Friday Fish Fry at Anse-la-Raye, a west coast fishing village whose village fishermen cook their catch of fish, crabs, lobsters (when in season), whelks, crayfish and shrimp in a variety of local dishes such as crab backs, fish cakes, baked and grilled, boiled or roasted seafood and serve them bistro style in stalls set up along the main street.
(2) Saturday Fish Fry, a similar event at Dennery, an east coast fishing village.
(3) Friday Night Street Party in Gros Islet with music, dancing, food and dining in the street of another village.
(4) Our Planet, an interactive visitor center in Castries.
