      There is a tremendous amount of change in healthcare today—a true shift which enables patient engagement to leverage some aspects of their healthcare using technology. So, what works better in healthcare, the carrot (voluntary patient participation in M-Health solutions to reduce costs) or the stick (required participation in M-health solutions or pay a fine)?

      A panel of experts will discuss the challenges of developing a patient-centric technology strategy that works for everyone, the possible positive impact on healthcare outcomes and patient satisfaction as well as managing the unintended consequences and responses of insurers.

      Karen Bandeen-Roche, PhD, Frank Hurley and Catharine Dorrier Professor and Chair of the Department of Biostatistics, invites alumni and friends to an afternoon symposium in honor of the late Dr. Alan Ross, former Chair and Professor in the Department of Biostatistics.
