    New

    Asghar has published an article "Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus metrics for patients in Saudi Arabia." with coauthor Dr. Jaffar Al Tawfiq in the Journal of Infections in Developing Countries. This free open-access full-text article can be accessed at link and the Abstract at link. He would appreciate comments and suggestions on this article from JHU faculty and students. He would also welcome any requests for assistance from students and young public health professionals for academic and career related queries as he is now a committed member of the Delta Omega Mentor Network.

  • Rajendra Shukla

    In April 2008, Rajendra Shukla was appointed a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Government of India, New Delhi with responsibilities for policy formulation and program implementation in respect of control of vector borne diseases and tuberculosis in India. He is also heading a team of ministry officials and consultants charged with the responsibility of developing new super speciality, tertiary care, teaching and research institutions in the public sector in India. He is the nodal officer in the ministry for policy and legal matters and international collaboration & cooperation in regard to his portfolios.

  • Amanda Liddle

    Amanda J. Liddle, currently an assistant professor of nursing at Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies, was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) at the annual meeting of the Academy, November 5-7, 2009, in Atlanta.

  • Marguerite Ro

    Marguerite J. Ro is the deputy director for Policy and Programs at the Asian and Pacific Islander American Health Forum in San Francisco.

  • Zahidul Huque

    Zahidul Huque is currently the Country Representative for the United Nations Population Fund in Indonesia (Jakarta) after having worked in both Indonesia and Sudan.
