Scientific Poster Competition
The Delta Omega Scientific Poster Competition is an annual event to give students the opportunity to display their research and receive recognition for their work.
The Delta Omega Alpha Chapter gives cash awards for first ($500), second ($300) and third ($200) prizes in two categories: applied research (epidemiologic public health research) and laboratory research (basic science research). The Chapter selects one of the first-place winners to present his or her poster at the annual APHA meeting.
The Scientific Poster Competition is open to students and fellows enrolled at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, who recently have engaged in a noteworthy scholarly investigation or scientific study during their period of enrollment. Each student or fellow may submit only one poster entry in each annual competition.
The 2013 Scientific Poster Competition was held from February 11-15 in Feinstone Hall. Learn more about the full competition rules.
