The Johns Hopkins Center on Aging and Health (COAH) is dedicated to research that will prevent disease, disability and frailty, and improve the health and well-being of older adults.

Center on Aging and Health Highlights

Drs. Weiss, Segel, and Varadhan have developed methods which provide a quantitative assessment of the applicability of evidence from a clinical trial to any given target sample. (Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety).

Dr. Qian-Li Xue has been awarded a 2-year RO3 grant to further his research on the clinical significance of short-term change and variability of grip strength. 

Dr. Frank Lin's research on hearing loss and risk for dementia is highlighted in the New York Times

Dr. Michelle Carlson's research offers perspectives in promoting a diverse repertoire of activities to mitigate age-related cognitive declines. (Journal of the International Neuropsychological Society)
